SECTION MANAGEMENT

AYMAR S.A.U has always been working with the highest quality standards, seeking to meet the requirements and specifications of our customers. Last 1999, when the Quality Managament System was implanted, we showed our commitment to quality through obtaining the ISO 9001 Certificate, with the singularity that the scope of this certification included our underground mining operations.

In 2004, the Factory Production Control was developed under the specifications of Construction Products Directive 89/106/CE, being of the first mining and mortar manufacturing companies to obtain the CE Marking for its aggregates (2004) and its mortars for masonry (2005)

In 2009, pioneering in Spain, considerations about sustainable development (environmental, social and economic criteria), were integrated into the company’s management system, according to UNE 22470 and UNE 22480 requirements. As a result, control indicators on social, economic and environmental aspects were implemented; (environmental indicators to evaluate the use of hazardous substances, the registered environmental incidents, the energy efficiency in our production centers, the environmental protection measures, or the water consumption; and social and economic indicators, among them those concerning health & safety of workers, training and employment, and economic management of the company). These indicators were audited by AENOR and, in compliance with UNE 22470 and UNE 22480 requirements, we were awarded with Sustainable Mining Management Certificate.

In 2010, in order to promote the research and development and innovation of our products, AYMAR S.A.UU Product Development Department was created. This department was resourced with a complete construction materials laboratory, on which to perform the test and trials needed to ensure the quality and competitiveness of our products.

The same year, keeping on with continuous improvement and sustainable development, and in order to maximize environmental protection and contamination prevention measures in balance with our socioeconomic needs, our Management System was implemented with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management and with 761/2001 EU ECO-MANAGEMENT AND AUDIT SCHEME (EMAS) standards.

These environmental standards have been audited by AENOR, and have been awarded with the corresponding certificates, ensuring that our Management System meets the requirements of the implementing rules.

Catalan Regional Goverment included AYMAR S.A.UU on its EMAS certified companies registry, with the registration number ES-CAT-000345.

This continuous development process, and the obtaining and renewal of these certificates, is the result of effort and good work of all the personnel of AYMAR S.A.UU, and shows our commitment to quality, environment and society.
