In line with our commitment to sustainability and with the aim of safeguarding the environment, the health of the applicator and that of the users of the places where our products are applied, we are working on the development of products with very low emissions of solvent-free organic substances (VOCs) in order to improve the welfare of the buildings where they are used.
In June 2021, we submitted to trial our adhesive for FLEXIBLE ADIMAR ceramic tiles for the emission of volatile organic substances (VOCs) under the standards and protocols EN 16516, ISO 16000 and EMICODE classification, determining that the product meets the EC1 PLUS requirements of the EMICODE classification and as "A+ Classe", according to the criteria established by the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, Transport and Housing.
EC1 PLUS Clasification ensures the highest market emission limits and provides users and consumers with the highest possible level of safety with regard to harmful emissions.
Class A + is the highest classification that certifies that the product does not detain volatile organic compounds harmful to humans.
These accreditations are necessary for the application of products in buildings with LEED or BREEM certifications necessary for building a green building.
The ceramic tiles adhesive Adimar Flexible is an improved cement adhesive with reduced sliding, prolonged open time and deformable C2TES1 type according to the UNE-EN 12004 standard: 2017, designed with arid marble, cement and special additives that confers adhesion, sliding and water retention properties suitable for the placement of ceramic parts.
