Visit the students of 1o and 2o Baccalaureate of the Instituto Baix Montseny

On the 22/03/22 in the XAUXA mine, we received a visit from the students of 1o and 2o Baccalaureate from the Instituto Baix Montseny. This visit is part of the 13th edition of the Day of Trees, Arids and Biodiversity, initiative of the Spanish arid makers, grouped in the Federación de Áridos-FdA - to promote knowledge of mine activities, to encourage rapprochement with society.

During the visit, which consisted of an itinerary through the mine's interior, we gave an explanation of the mine extractive process, mining processes and techniques in general, answering questions on the teaching topic of geological resources, and finally took the opportunity to instil the role and importance of mining activity in society, the impact on the environment and sustainable mining management in general and our company in particular.
