Visit the students of 1st Baccalaureate of the Institut Baix Montseny

On 9/03/23 we received a visit to the XAUXA mine from the students of the 1st Baccalaureate of the Instituto Baix Montseny. This visit is part of the 13th edition of the Arres, Arids and Biodiversity Day, an initiative of the Spanish arid manufacturing companies, grouped in the Federation of Arids-FdA - to promote knowledge of mining activities, to promote rapprochement with society.

During the visit, which consisted of an itinerary through the mine's interior, we gave an explanation of the mine extractive process, mining processes and techniques in general, responding to the questions of the teaching theory of geological resources, and finally took the opportunity to instil the role and importance of mining activity in society, the impact on the environment and sustainable mining management in general and our company in particular.
