Adigrout

One-component mortar for anchoring and backfilling by simple pouring. Slightly expansive.

ADIGROUT is a preparation with a very high percentage of high quality polymers. By adding only water, we obtain a mortar for anchoring and backfilling with controlled shrinkage. When hardened, it is capable of uniformly transmitting the stresses of the machine or structure to the foundation, allowing the optimal functioning of the whole assembly.

Its specific composition is characterised by:

  • It has excellent fluidity: it is easy to use and we ensure total filling and full contact between anchor plate and support.
  • It has controlled shrinkage: we avoid unwanted debonding and the correct transmission of loads.
  • It is self-levelling and does not segregate.
  • Develops very high mechanical resistance and in a very short time. See Technical Data table.
  • It is impermeable and resistant to aggressive substances.
  • It has a clearly alkaline pH, so it is not only non-corrosive for the metal structure, but also protects it.
  • It allows rapid commissioning.
  • It resists shocks, vibrations,... and tensile, torsional or shear stresses very well.

  • ADIGROUT is a CONSTANT formulation mortar. It has no clays, no ashes, no carbonates,... It is designed for those important applications where durability and resulting safety are essential.
  • ADIGROUT is ideal for grouting under anchor plates thanks to its high fluidity and mechanical resistance. The cost of the grout is very small in proportion to the total cost of installation of the structures, which more than justifies the use of ADIGROU T : we achieve a Recompression= 54 N/mm2.
  • GROUT S10 is the simplest and most economical solution for anchoring railings or posts in concrete, given its great adhesion to both the support and the iron of the railing.
  • ADIGROUT can be used to seal non-moving, horizontal cracks or fissures in concrete or mortar.

Substrate:

  • The concrete or mortar substrate must be clean, well set, free of oils and flaking.
  • If the surface is very smooth, roughen it by sandblasting or similar: this increases the adhesion of the grout to the substrate.
  • Especially in hot weather, the concrete should be soaked with water, but be careful: do this 24 hours before applying the grout.
  • If there are metallic elements, brush them mechanically to remove any rust present.
  • Apply ADIGROUT at temperatures between +5ºC and +30ºC. If the grout contact surfaces are very cold, suitable heating systems should be provided 24 hours in advance, which will be maintained until 2-3 days after application. If on the other hand it is very hot, mix the grout with cold water (without ice), and keep a good shade over the grout at least 2-3 days after application.

Making the grout:

  • Pour 3.0 litres of water into a large container and then pour 25 kg of ADIGROUT little by little, mixing 2 to 3 minutes with a slow electric mixer.
  • Immediately after mixing, apply it by pouring it into the cavity to be filled.

Application of the mixture:

  • When using the mixture for an anchor plate, pour the grout continuously and quickly from one side of the plate until it comes out on the opposite side, thus ensuring that the air is completely evacuated. We can use vibrators or a rod to facilitate the complete filling of all the corners. If the slab is very large, provide perforations every 50 cm and apply the grout in one perforation until it comes out of the next and continue the process until the end of the slab.

Comments to bear in mind:

  • When using grout on anchor plates, the distance between the concrete and the plate should always be more than 3 cm and less than 8 cm. If more thickness is required, apply in two coats, leaving 24 hours between the first coat and the next.

With ADIGROUT we must not:

  • Adulterate its composition. We should only add water.
  • Adding more water than indicated means substantially increasing drying times, and reduces the properties of the product.
  • Do not apply ADIGROUT on a very absorbent substrate without first dampening it adequately.
  • Do not use ADIGROUT for uses other than those indicated in this sheet.
  • Do not use it to make residential foundations or slabs: it is an anchoring mortar.
  • Do not use in layer thicknesses greater than 80 mm.
