Gray M5 Mortar
The dry grey M5 mortar supplied by AYMAR S.A.U. is an industrial mortar manufactured with marble aggregates and special additives that give it optimum workability, workability and adherence, for common use in masonry.
Composition
Composed of white marble aggregates crushed for use in construction, as aggregates for concrete and mortars, cement and organic additives to improve the workability of the mortar, reduce mixing water, increase cohesion, reduce exudation and avoid segregation.

M5 Gray Dry Mortar is a multipurpose mortar. It can be used for plastering, building walls, load-bearing walls, traditional masonry walls with bricks and tiles, terrazzo, prefabricated concrete and thermo-clay, backfilling and screeds.
- Substrate preparation: Clean and dampen the substrates before application. The substrate must be completely hardened, resistant, consistent, clean of dust, paint, oil, etc.
- Preparation of the mixture: always use clean running water. Add 3.75-4 l. of mixing water per bag and mix manually (mixer) or with a spraying machine until a homogeneous mass is obtained and apply.
- Do not apply at low temperatures and high humidity, with rain or with risk of frost. The application temperature must be between 5ºC and 30ºC.
- Do not apply on plaster or in union of easily disintegrable pieces.
- Not recommended for machine projection.
- To achieve a satisfactory finish it is advisable to wet several times the applied mortar, during the first two weeks from 24 hours after its application.
- The addition of other material (additives, cement, etc.) can change the behavior and characteristics of the product.
